We are both so excited that 2010 has begun (can't you tell from Mike's expression!) and cannot wait to see what new and exciting adventures await us in the upcoming year! Our marriage was blessed over and abundantly in 2009 and we could never give God enough praise for all He has done for us. We had a wonderful Christmas season and were able to have a small celebration at the house with our little family! Mike officialy initiated me into the Fleener family by making me watch WWE videos all day on Christmas. I was able to drive home the day after Christmas, and though I was only able to stay for a few days, I had a wonderful time! Here are a few pics from my trip!!

Everytime I go home I am reminded of how blessed I am to have such a loving, beautiful family. I am who I am today because of the hard work, discipline, and love that my parents and grandparents gave me. I can only hope that one day I am able to pass on these values to my future children!
As for New Year's, Mike and I celebrated in old fashioned style, by going to bed around 11:30pm. Mike had been working extra hard this fireworks season and I was coming down with something, so we snored our way through the beginning of the New Year. Though we missed the countdown, we have already started working on some exciting things for 2010. Mike is now growing a gotee (did I spell that right?). Here is a nice little picture (you may have to look REALLY close).

We have a small bet going on between us about how long he will keep it... he is a "little" competitive so I have a feeling I am going to lose.
We have also begun training for our first 10K! We are taking a little weekend vacation for our 2nd anniversary and are going to go take part in the Crescent City Classic in New Orleans during this time. My main goal is to NOT walk. If I can accomplish that, then I will be happy! :)
Please come back often to get updates on the Fleener family! I hope to keep this blog up to date so that we are able to keep in touch even though we are states away! Love you and all and are praying for you! God Bless!
Thanks for posting the pic with me looking like a cook. Everyone probably thinks you PhotoShopped it! LOL Momma loves you very much!
